Stephen Rosenthal, MD

Dr. Stephen M. Rosenthal is co-founder and medical director of the multidisciplinary UCSF Child and Adolescent Gender Center (CAGC), where he cares for young transgender patients. He also cares for pediatric patients with endocrine disorders, such as abnormalities involving thyroid function or growth and puberty. He previously served as program director for pediatric endocrinology and director of the pediatric endocrinology clinics.

Theodore Miclau, MD

After graduating from Yale College and Yale University School of Medicine, Theodore Miclau III, MD, completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994. During his residency, he spent nearly one year at the AO Research Institute in Davos, Switzerland studying fracture healing. After finishing an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1995, he was awarded the AO-Jack McDaniel fellowship and visited prominent trauma centers in St. Gallen, Switzerland and Berlin, Germany.

Wolf Mehling, MD

Dr. Wolf Mehling specializes in family and community medicine as well as integrative medicine.

Mehling earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Hamburg in Germany. He worked in private practice in Germany for 12 years before moving to the United States, where he completed a residency in family practice at Sutter Health. He then completed a clinical research fellowship in family medicine at UCSF.

Dr. Wendy Katzman is Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. She is a physical therapist and board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
