About the UCSF MSK Center

A Skeleton for Integrated Research at UCSF

The MSK Center is a collaborative hub with resources and approaches to help investigators unlock new roles for musculoskeletal tissues in health, aging, and disease. 

The MSK innovation 'ecosystem' integrates basic and clinicial research, connecting investigators to industry, to improve MSK health. 

The MSK Center advances ongoing basic and translational collaborations through the NIH P30 supported UCSF Core Center for Musculoskeletal Biology and Medicine (CCMBM) and other centers and is supported by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
