Dr. Wolf Mehling specializes in family and community medicine as well as integrative medicine.

Mehling earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Hamburg in Germany. He worked in private practice in Germany for 12 years before moving to the United States, where he completed a residency in family practice at Sutter Health. He then completed a clinical research fellowship in family medicine at UCSF.

Mehling has studied manual therapy, psychotherapy and various techniques of bodywork, such as breath therapy, Feldenkrais Method, yoga, massage and Rolfing. He also has instructed German physicians and physical therapists in manual therapy.

Interests: Epidemiology and mind-body interaction in low back pain, transition to chronic pain, interoception, exercise practices.
